Ohio’s largest and most popular literary events, and takes place each Fall.
The JCC's Jewish Bookfair features author appearances and book signings,
events and activities, and a wide selection of books for sale
either written by Jewish authors or about Jewish topics.

Gallery Players

Gallery Players, started in 1948, is the oldest semi-professional theater group in Central Ohio and strives to present a season lineup highlighting the Jewish experience and work by Jewish playwrights. Gallery Players does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion or gender when casting, and aims to present productions that are of interest to the Jewish and general communities.

Gallery Players concludes its 59th season with Brooklyn Boy, May 17-June 1 in the Roth-Resler Theater. The production is being directed by John Dranschak.
Performances are scheduled for:
Saturdays, May 17, 31 at 8 p.m.
Sundays, May 18, 25, June 1 at 2:30 p.m.
Thursdays, May 22, 29 at 7:30 p.m.
Brooklyn Boy is a drama about what happens when the writing career of a middle-aged author begins to take off.
Tickets are $12 for JCC members, $16 for nonmembers, $10 for senior members, $14 for senior nonmembers, $6 for children or students, and $8 per ticket for groups of 10 or more. Yossi Steinberg is a contemporary Israeli artist who uses hand painted acrylic resin in combination with silver or gold-plated wire to create beautiful Judaic art. He also incorporates beads and Judaic symbols. His style is whimsical yet rich in color and composition. All of his items are original designs. Yossi creates and works in Tel-Aviv, Israel.
Visual Arts
Brightly colored paintings, hand-crafted quilts,
stunning sculptures and intriguing photographs
are just examples of the beautiful pieces on
display throughout the year in the JCC’s
Goldberg Gallery, located in the building’s
lobby. Exhibits are free and open to the
community.
Exhibits are open Monday through Thursday from
8 AM - 10 PM, Friday from 8 AM - 6 PM, and Sunday from
9 AM - 8 PM.
