Visit With the Fishes After Class

Parade
This could be you - after taking SCUBA lessons at the JCC!

Did you know that the word, "Scuba," actually is an acronym for "Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus," and that the term originally referred to the U.S. combat frogmen's oxygen rebreathers during World War II?

Did you also know that you can take Scuba lessons right here at the JCC?

It's true! Classes will be offered at the JCC once again on Thursday nights on May 7, 14, 21, 28, and June 4 and 11, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Scuba diving may be enjoyed by the whole family - ages 12 and up - with an emphasis on fun, fitness and knowledge while getting certified. After the course's conclusion, you will be able to join other scuba divers in dives to visit with the fishes and explore other underwater wonders with your instructor.
