Mighty Mite Gymnastics Camp Set For June 8-11
Mighty Mite Gymnastics Camp, instructed by Krisa Boylan of Tap and Tumble, will be offered at the JCC June 8-11, for children ages 3 to 5 years old. Classes will be held from 12:30 to 1 p.m. for three-year-olds, and 1:15 to 1:45 p.m. for four- to five-year-olds.
This introductory one-week gymnastics camp will provide instruction on the fundamentals of basic gymnastics. Your child will enjoy learning through fun and educational music while increasing large motor coordination, and enhancing listening skills. The program will teach your child forward rolls, log rolls, v-sits, tabletops, headstands, bridges and backbends. The program uses a balance beam, mini-trampoline, mini-springboard, and vaulting cubes. In addition, hula hoops, jump ropes, parachutes, and a tunnel are used to create a fun learning experience.
