What is JET?
Jewish Experiences for Teens (JET) connects hundreds of Jewish teens through large social events and smaller
programs in partnership with Jewish youth groups. JET sponsors community wide social events around
Columbus to give Jewish teens the chance to socialize.
For instance, JET hosts events for more than 250 teens in the community, including a welcome back party
at Camp Hoover, a Chanukah party at SuperGames (at right, top photo), the College Caravan (middle photo) to visit various college campuses,
a Purim party at GameWorks, and a JET Teen Awards night (bottom photo).

JET also hosts and organizes programs for Culture Clubs in New Albany, Pickerington, Columbus' Northwest area, and at
Gahanna Lincoln High School. Culture club members meet once per month to eat, socialize, discuss Jewish holidays
and festivals, participate in activities, and work on various mitzvah projects. Culture Clubs are
generously supported by the Marilyn and Stuart Cole Fund of the Columbus Jewish Foundation.
JCC Teen Lounge is NOW OPEN!

Now there is a place at the JCC just for teens! Teens, ages 13 and up, can come to the lounge to watch DVDs
and play pool, foosball, air hockey, and video games. (XBox video games and pool cutes may be signed out at
the JCC's front desk.)
The Teen Lounge, located on the JCC's third floor next to
the Summer Camp office, is open Monday through Thursday, from 3 to 8 p.m.; Friday, from 3 to 6 p.m.; and
on Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Please Note: The Teen Lounge is open to 11-year-olds and up on Sundays.
Participants are unsupervised while in the lounge.)
The Teen Lounge is being made possible through the efforts of the Teen Parent Committee members, Jeff
Meyer, Jeff Levy and Marlene Miller. All items have been donated by the Teen families.
