The JCC and 1st Choice Physical Therapy have partnered to offer JCC members a convenient place to receive physical therapy. Physical therapist Jonathan Hartstein offers his services from a satellite office in the JCC’s Diamond Family Fitness Center, a service open to both JCC members and nonmembers. These physical therapy services complement the JCC’s existing health and wellness programs.

As patients are discharged from physical therapy, they are often advised to continue an exercise program that integrates strength, builds cardio/endurance and increases flexibility. Our goal is to transition patients into a fitness program at the JCC, under the guidance of one of the JCC’s land or aquatic personal trainers. 1st Choice Physical Therapy aims to optimize physical health, while rehabilitating specific injuries.

Hartstein received his degree in physical therapy from Cleveland State University. Over the years, he has worked in a variety of settings while gaining experience in treating all types of injuries. His experience includes establishing two physical therapy departments in an urgent care facility, working in an outpatient sports and orthopedic clinic, and providing care in area nursing homes. As the chairman of the Ohio Physical Therapy Association’s Central District, Jonathan continues to be a leader in physical therapy.
